Recraft

Recraft is an AI image-generation and editing platform for creators, designers, and teams. Its web product uses credits for generation and editing, while its API exposes image and vector generation, editing, background removal, inpainting, outpainting, batch jobs, and asynchronous processing. Paid subscriptions provide private generations and commercial usage rights while subscribed.

✨ Key Features

• Text-to-image generation — Describe a visual concept and generate images through the Recraft workspace.
• Image editing — Refine an existing image with editing operations and model-specific controls.
• Vector generation — Create vector artwork for design workflows, with API access listed for vector generation and editing.
• Background removal — Remove an image background through the platform or API.
• Inpainting and outpainting — Replace selected areas or extend a canvas beyond its original boundary.
• Custom styles — Build and reuse visual styles; shared custom styles are included in the Teams plan.
• Private generations — Paid plans keep generated images private rather than exposing them in the community gallery.
• Credit top-ups — Purchase additional credit packs; top-up credits do not expire and are used after subscription credits.
• Batch and asynchronous API jobs — Build internal tools or high-volume pipelines without requiring every operation to be synchronous.
• Commercial ownership on paid plans — Paid subscriptions grant ownership and commercial rights for images generated while subscribed, including after cancellation according to the official FAQ.

💳 Pricing

• Free — Limited exploration credits. Images belong to Recraft, appear publicly in its community gallery, and are not licensed for commercial use.
• Basic / Pro / Teams — Paid subscriptions provide plan credits; current price, credit quantity and workspace/seat terms must match the selected offer.
• Credit renewal — Subscription credits reset each cycle and do not roll over. Separate top-ups never expire; Teams top-ups are shared across workspace seats.
• Paid image rights — Images generated during a paid subscription are private and carry ownership/commercial rights that remain after cancellation. Upgrading does not retroactively change the stated Free-image license.
• API — Separate prepaid API Units with operation-specific pricing; subscription credits and API Units are different pools.
